Musculation : Les muscles deltoïde |
|
With a triangular shape, the deltoid is a large, powerful and thick muscle. It is attached to the clavicle and the shoulder blade, thus covering the outer part of the joint of the shoulder. It is the muscle of the curve of the shoulder. Its terminal tendon is attached to the humerus (bone of the arm).As contracting the deltoid mobilizes the arm in many plans of the space (forearm elevation, abduction, retropulsion...). © BODYPLANET 1998 - 2011
